Billy Tomlinson attended the University of Georgia as an undergraduate and received his B.S. Degree in 1993. He then attended Mississippi College School of Law where he received his J.D. Degree in 1996. Prior to attending college he served in the United States Marine Corps.


During his years of practice as a personal injury, criminal, and DUI attorney, Mr. Tomlinson has represented clients in many different legal matters. He has represented criminal clients with charges ranging from minor traffic offense to death penalty cases. His criminal defense experience is enhanced by having served as a criminal prosecutor for over 8 years.  This experience will give you an edge by having an attorney who understands how the prosecution works to try and convict you.  


As a personal injury attorney, Mr. Tomlinson has more than successfully represented his clients.  To date he has over $15 million dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients.


Mr. Tomlinson has also handled complex family law matters for both military and civilian couples. He has served as a Solicitor General for  9 years in Garden City, Georgia (since 2005), is a Special Appointed Solicitor in the State Court of Bryan County, and he is the attorney for the Richmond Hill Travel and Conventions Bureau.


Mr. Tomlinson is active in a number of professional organizations including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense lawyers, Georgia Bar Association, Savannah Bar Association and the Atlantic Judicial Bar Association
